General Information

Round House Theatre’s meteoric rise continues as we get ready to reopen our dramatically transformed theatre with a full six-play lineup that’s brimming with heart, soul, and a whole lot of humor.

Our “homecoming” launches with the Off-Broadway hit comedy, School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play  by Jocelyn Bioh. Next, we’ll spark joy during the holidays with a run of Simon Stephens’ Tony Award-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. 2020 kicks off with another Tony-winning sensation—the powerful and poignant musical Spring Awakening—followed by last year’s Pulitzer Prize winner, Cost of Living  by Martyna Majok, whose award-winning Ironbound made its world premiere at Round House in 2015. We’ll close the season with THE LOVE/HATE REP, a bespoke juxtaposition of two electrifying comedies in rotating repertory—Big Love, Charles Mee’s contemporary take on a rollicking classic, alongside Hatef*ck, a fiery, new romantic comedy that just premiered Off-Broadway!

All single ticket sales are final. No refunds. Shows, artists, dates, times, and details are subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to change based on demand. A $4.50 service fee and $2.50 facility fee is applied to all single ticket purchases via phone, in person, and online.

Free Ticket Programs

Free Play

If you must exit the theatre before a scheduled break, please do so as quickly and quietly as possible.

Re-admission to the theatre will occur at the discretion of the house manager.

At some performances, especially those performances without an intermission, patrons who leave the theatre prior to the end of the performance may not be able to be re-admitted to the theatre.

Round House Theatre reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone.

  • Cameras and Recording Devices

Camera and recording devices are not allowed in the theatre. Use of such devices may result in ejection without refund.

Round House reserves the right to make schedule and production changes at any time. When possible, we will contact all ticket holders regarding the cancellation of a specific performance. Please make sure to provide a phone number or email address when ordering to ensure we can reach you.

  • Cell Phones, Pagers, Watch Alarms, and Electronic Devices

Please turn off all cell phones, pagers, watches, and other electronic devices upon entering the theatre.

Please don’t text during the performance—it is distracting to actors and audience members alike.

Please remember to turn your devices off at the end of intermission.

  • Dress Code

There’s no dress code at Round House. Generally, we advise patrons to avoid wearing their fanciest tuxedoes or their most hole-ridden jeans. Anything falling between those extremes is usually alright when attending a play at Round House.

Many patrons dress in business casual for regular performances and in formal business attire for Opening Nights. It’s your choice!

  • Food and Drink

No food is allowed in the theatre.  Drinks in non-glass containers with tops are allowed.
