Inspired by some of their favoritre animated stories - from Moana to Paw Patrol students will use their four actor tools - body, voice, mind, and imagination to bring stories and characters to life.  Activities promote confidence, self-esteem, and creative expression while working on skills such as active listening, teamwork, and sharing. Enchanted Tales

Superhero Adventures!

Grades 2-3

Superhero Adventures will use superheroes familiar and unfamiliar as jumping off points for our adventures!  Activities promote confidence, self-esteem, and creative expression while working on skills such as active listening, teamwork, and sharing. Adventures in Acting

Grades 3-5

Expand your actor's toolbox in a fun and exploratory environment.  Students will develop acting techniques through improvisational exercises, ensemble activities, and beginning scene work.  This class concludes with a sharing for families.

Theatrical Explorations!

Grades 3-5

Theater is more than just acting!  Each week, students get a taste of the different areas of theatre including acting, improvisations, costume design, prop construction, writing and directing. Students build new skills through a mix of on-your-feet activities, games, demonstrations. This sampler wraps up with a fun classroom sharing showcasing student-selected material developed throughout the semester.

Improv!

Grades 6-9

Saturdays 1 pm - 2:30pm

Act Fast! Improvisation teaches collaborative problem-solving, encourages spontaneity, and builds self-confidence. Through games, interactive play, and long-form exploration, this class encourages creativity and teamwork. The emphasis will be on creating a safe environment for students to take risks, make mistakes, and learn through doing. This class can be repeated multiple times and concludes with a sharing for families.
