TICKET INFO
Attention teens and college students: Obsessed with theatre? At Round House Theatre, it’s free to see a show (in-person or virtually for those shows available) for any student age 13 through college.* Yep, free. No hidden fees, no tricks. Totally free!
Here’s how it works:
- Reserve your Free Play ticket online, subject to availability. Free Play reservations open approximately one month before the first performance of each play.
- A Jumping-Off Point: Reserve your Free Play tickets through this form.
- Pick up your ticket at the box office prior to the show. Tickets must be picked up at least 10 minutes before show time. You will be asked to show valid high school ID, college ID, or proof of age to the Box Office.
- Please note: If you are 20 years old or older, you must provide proof of current undergraduate college enrollment. Questions or concerns about valid ID? Contact the box office at boxoffice@roundhousetheatre.org or 240.644.1100.
FREE PLAY tickets may be obtained for any performance, subject to overall ticket availability. College students must be currently enrolled as undergraduate students. Please allow 48 hours for FREE PLAY ticket request to be processed.
CONTENT GUIDANCE
We at Round House want patrons to feel informed and empowered about their theatregoing experiences, so we are sharing advisories for each upcoming production. If you have specific questions or concerns, please call our Box Office at 240.644.1100. Please note that content advisory information may reveal plot information. Please also note that content advisories will be updated as necessary.
Content advisory for Next to Normal: Next to Normal includes depictions of various mental health conditions and disorders including bipolar disorder, anxiety, and grief. The production also includes depictions and discussion of drug use, self-harm, death, and medical trauma.

Teen Nights bring together teens from all over the area to watch shows from our dynamic season, with special behind the scenes access to Round House Theatre staff and artists.

ABOUT FREE PLAY
Round House Theatre’s FREE PLAY initiative ties into our greater strategy to develop theatre audiences of tomorrow by providing rich, meaningful arts experiences today. This program promotes accessibility of theatre and deepens ties between artists and members of the community. The recent expansion of this program helps to remove the financial barrier to theatre attendance for a wider range of students.
