Round House has several unique spaces in Montgomery County that are available to rent for a variety of events such as performances, parties, meetings, workshops, and classes.

Bethesda: Theatre, Lobby, and Event Room

Round House Theatre, located at 4545 East-West Highway in Bethesda, features a 344-seat Theatre space with a thrust, proscenium stage, with seating in the lower level and balcony. The intimate Lounge next to Jerry's Place (our Bar & Café) is perfect for pre- or post-show group gatherings and can accommodate 15-20 individuals. Our warm and inviting Lobby space allows for large receptions of up to 200 individuals. As a flexible space, our Event Room can service dinners and events for up to 65 individuals depending on the room configuration. 

Due to Round House Theatre performance schedules, as well as load-ins and tech rehearsals, the Theatre’s availability is very limited. While a show is running, rentals during Round House Theatre “Off Nights” may take place on the set.

THEATRE FACILITY MAINTENANCE FEE

The fees below are effective through June 2027. This rate includes one Venue Host, one Technician, Round House Theatre furniture set-up, and use of the Lobby/Lounge for the duration of the rental.

BRING YOUR GROUP TO A SHOW

Bar Services and Catering

Jerry's Place, Round House's bar and café, offers a full-service bar with locally sourced options including beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and coffee (sponsored by Mayorga). Though Rental events are more than welcome to provide their own caterers, Round House Theatre’s preferred caterers are Provisions and Founding Farmers. *Round House Theatre maintains an alcohol license through Montgomery County. All alcoholic beverages served on site must be purchased and served by Round House. No outside alcohol can be served in the building.

Silver Spring: Education Center

Round House Theatre's Education Center, located at 925 Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring, has five classrooms, including a Rehearsal Space with a spring floor and a mirrored wall. Classrooms are suitable for meetings of up to 30 individuals, with tables and chairs available at no additional cost.

For classes and reservations that are repeated on a regular, consistent schedule, Round House Theatre can offer an additional 15% off the total Facilities Maintenance Fee.
