Broadway in Bethesda Gala 2018
An evening with Euan Morton

Saturday, May 12, 2018

From Boy George to King George, “honey-voiced” (USA Today) Euan Morton has made audiences and critics alike swoon from Broadway to the Beltway. And now the “silver-piped crooner,” who the Washington Post also says is “possessed of a vocal instrument so creamy it could be poured in a malt shop,” is taking the night off from Hamilton to grace our stage with a one-night-only celebration of song. Join us for his favorites—and some of yours—along with drinks, dinner, desserts, and a night you’ll never forget!

DINNER ON STAGE 2017

We were delighted to celebrate Ike and Catherine Leggett, and their contributions to Montgomery County, at our Dinner on Stage event on November 4. We heard meaningful toasts from special guests, were treated to spectacular performances, and enjoyed a delicious meal on the Round House stage.

Round House journeyed to London for the third annual tour in October with 18 of our closest supporters. Led by Round House leadership, the five-day trip included special discussions, group dinners, private tours, and London’s top shows.

This year show’s included Stephen Sondheim’s Follies and a reimagining of Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre at the National Theatre, Young Marx at the brand-new Bridge Theatre, and the critically acclaimed Ink at the Duke of York’s Theatre. The tour included discussions with London theatre critic Michael Billington, actors Nadia Clifford and Tim Delap, group dinners, a visit to the Tricycle Theatre led by Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham, a private walking tour, and traditional afternoon tea at The Rubens Hotel at the Palace.
