Submit your thoughts on Homebound—in video form—by September 7, and you could be part of our upcoming retrospective documentary.

Talk to us about Homebound  using any of these questions as inspiration:

  • How did Homebound  affect you or change your perspective?
  • What surprised you the most about Homebound?
  • If you could say anything to the creators of Homebound, what would it be?

Two ways to participate:

  1. Film yourself—with your mobile device or computer camera—discussing one or more of the questions above. Submit the video file to Round House by emailing HomeboundResponse@gmail.com or uploading your video at https://tinyurl.com/HomeboundRHT
  • Please be sure to include the full names of all participants, and submit your video by Monday, September 7.
  • Recording tips: Film in horizontal (landscape) orientation in a quiet room. Make sure you’re well lit, with the light source in front of you. Relax and have fun!

    2. By email—Not sure how to tape yourself? Send your response by email to              HomeboundResponse@gmail.com and a few lucky people may be selected for a Zoom call from Resident Artist Maboud Ebrahimzadeh himself to record your thoughts.

Round House Theatre brings together DC-area playwrights, actors, and designers for Homebound, an original webseries that explores life under Stay-at-Home orders in the Nation’s Capital. Homebound  stars Round House Theatre resident artists Craig Wallace and Maboud Ebrahimzadeh, plus seven local artists who lost work with Round House as a result of the cancellation of the theatre's spring shows. Round House Theatre has paired those artists with ten of DC’s leading playwrights, each of whom will pick up on the prompts offered in the previous writer’s episode, writing a story that the actors can film themselves at home. These episodes are supported by four of Round House Theatre's incredible designers and directed by Round House Artistic Director Ryan Rilette and Associate Artistic Director Nicole A. Watson.  Explore the full cast and creative team below!

Homebound premiered on April 27, 2020. All episodes are archived on the Round House YouTube page and this page as well!

Homebound is part of Round House at Your House, our new slate of free digital programming that is fully funded by new contributions from the Round House Board of Trustees.

Please note: By submitting your video, you are giving permission for your name, words, and likeness to be used by Round House Theatre and filmmaker Maboud Ebrahimzadeh in video or other written and digital media, without payment or other consideration.
