Overview

Develop your artistic voice!

Teen Institute provides a unique opportunity for students to explore the art of theatre in a supportive yet challenging environment while developing their individual artistic talents.

Students learn from artists/educators who are professionals in the DC area theatre community.

The program caters to students of all skill levels, dividing them into age-appropriate companies for some programs. Please note grade levels of individual sessions when registering. Programs culminate in a showcase for family and friends.

Self-release: All Teen Institute students self-release for lunch and at the end of the camp day. Students may bring lunch and eat at the theater, but are also free to leave the campus.

Class Placement: Student may be divided by age into separate cohorts. If you have special requests for class placement (such as best friends who want to be together during a session) please get in touch with us in advance of your camp week.

Students with Unique Needs: Round House Education works hard to make camp accessible and available to all students. If you have questions about the program or its ability to meet your student’s unique needs, please get in touch with us.

Refund Policy: a full refund will be made when a program is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. A full refund, minus a $25 processing fee is available if the participant is withdrawn at least 30 days prior to the start date of the program. A 50% refund is available if withdrawing less than one month but more than two weeks prior to a program's start date. No refunds will be made within two weeks of program's scheduled start date and/or after a program has begun.
