Summer Theatre Education Student Internships
Round House Theatre Education seeks Interns (age of 18 or over) to work in our Summer camps for grades 1-12. Ideal candidates are interested in Arts Education, enjoy students, and are team players. Internships are for 8-hour shifts between 8:45am-6pm, Monday through Friday, June 20 through August 25. Interns are asked to commit to a minimum of 3 weeks. Interns provide support for professional teaching artists, learning to work with students, support and lead activities, and thrive in a theatre education classroom. A stipend of $250 a week is provided. Housing is not provided. Interviews and hiring begin immediately. Round House Theatre actively encourage people from a variety of backgrounds with different experiences, skills and stories to join us and influence our working practice. The internship program is a training program, and significant prior experience is not required.
