Ten years ago, almost to the day, we opened our doors and welcomed the community to our new home.
Please join us for an evening of celebration featuring delectable food, a lively silent auction, wine raffle and a special performance in the theatre.

One of the hottest items in our pre-event auction each year, tickets to the live taping of Saturday Night Live, is now available online for bidding but will close soon. Place your bid now and mark your calendar for April 5 to be the first in line to stake your claim as even more exciting offerings go online. Bidding on most items will close the night of the event.

Ben Giliberti, Director of Wine Education for Calvert-Woodley Wines, Washington, DC, has brought together an outstanding and exciting collection of remarkable wines for the Round House Theatre 2012 Wine Raffle!
Two matching wine cellars valued at more than $1000 each have been assembled and will be raffled at the May 1st Round House Theatre Gala. Both novice and connoisseur will delight in the scope and quality of these superb wines.
Raffle tickets at $50 each and are available immediately for purchase by calling (240) 644-1403. The raffle will be drawn on the evening of the gala. You do not need to be present to win.
For more than 22 years, Mr. Giliberti served as The Washington Post wine critic and columnist, following in the footsteps of the renowned Robert Parker. He is an experienced wine journalist who also has published in the Los Angeles Times, Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits and The Wine News; he is well-travelled throughout the vineyards of the United States and Europe. Round House Theatre is most grateful to Ben for so generously donating his time and matchless expertise in assembling this year’s exceptional Wine Raffle cellars.

- Intersections: Improving reading comprehension skills and promoting interest in theatre and literature in 21 area public classrooms.
- Student Matinees: Offering subsidized tickets to over 3000 students annually, many experiencing live theatre for the first time.
- Sarah Metzger Memorial Play: Giving teens professional mentorship as they create their own production.
- Heyday Players: Touring theatrical troupe composed of Senior Citizens creates work that is performed throughout the community.
