Creating Community and revising its history, nightly. Part-civic ceremony, part-theatrical pageant, the show welcomes audiences into the 20th Beertown Time Capsule Day celebration, where every five years the small American town unearths its beloved Time Capsule and ritualistically reviews its contents. The ceremony engages the audience as town citizens, leading the debate and voting on the time capsule’s contents.  Each Beertown performance begins with a dessert potluck. Please bring a dish to share. “Gently satiric and utterly involving” – Washington Post

How much fun can you have? We can’t all die, can we?  Audience and performers play along together in series of scenes, contests, and songs, creating a thrilling, playful brand of storytelling that ultimately celebrates life while playing at death. With Lise Bruneau, Felicia Curry, Will Gartshore, Michael Glenn, and Todd Scofield . An Off-Broadway hit, This is a funny, poignant comedy with music that follows a group of friends as they navigate their way towards the choppy waters of middle age.  Jane is not ok. She’s a promising poet-without-a-muse, a single mother trying to reignite her life after losing her husband. Her supportive friends try to help but only make things more complicated while a sexy, French Doctor-Without-Borders incites temptation – and perspective. “A terrific new play! Startling, intellectually quirky and emotionally satisfying” – Associated Press. “Beautifully conceived…full of inventive humor and wise insight” – New York Times. Creative team: James Kronzer, Ivania Stack, Daniel MacLean Wagner, and Eric Shimelonis.
