This contemporary love story captured a 2010 Outer Critics Circle Award as Best New American Play and a Tony Award nomination for Best Play. Adam and Luke are a case of opposites attract – Adam is older, neurotic, and an atheist; Luke is impulsive, a struggling actor, and devoutly religious. After Luke is involved in a serious accident, family and friends descend upon them and these longtime differences collide, forcing opposing views on family and faith into a stand-off. Hilarious and heartbreaking, it exposes the fundamental truth that we love people both because of – and in spite of – who they are.
The cast includes Kevin Cutts, Chris Dinolfo, Kathryn Kelley, Tom Story, Alexander Strain, and Dawn Ursula.
The artistic team includes director Mark Ramont, scenic designer Daniel Conway, costume designer Frank Labovitz, lighting designer Daniel McLean Wagner, composer/sound designer Matthew M. Neilson, props master Sarah Conte, and production stage manager Jennifer Schwartz.
