7-12Grades 7-12: Summer Theatre Institute in Bethesda

Round House Theatre’s Summer Theatre Institute provides a unique opportunity for students in grades 7-12 to build their theatrical skills while discovering their unique artistic voices. Its great fun, but it also offers much more.  We inspire creativity, exercise imaginations, and promote artistic risk-taking while developing critical-thinking, collaboration, and personal confidence. Students gain confidence and the ability to access their imaginations and articulate their ideas.

Students are divided into companies based upon age and skill level for classes taught by working artists who can be seen on stages throughout the DC area. At the end of the week, all the classes come together as one ensemble to share discoveries and perform.

“The programs at Round House encourage creativity and offer different approaches to just about everything which is so helpful for someone trying to find themselves as an artist.   While Round House is definitely a professional place that takes its art seriously, there’s no mistaking the warm family vibe that it has.”  – RHT Student
