Days Off at Round House

A full day of theatrical fun for grades K – 6 at the Round House Theatre Education Center when Montgomery County Public Schools are closed. Pre-registration is required.

The dates for the 2012/2013 school year are:
Wednesday, September 26, 2012— “It’s a Mystery!” Stories
Friday, October 19, 2012— Campfire Whisperings: Fireside Tales
Monday, November 5, 2012—Travels Through Time: Magical Journeys!
Tuesday, November 6, 2012—Heroes of the Forest: Young Robin Hood Preview
Tuesday, January 22, 2013—Around the World: Classic Folktales Reimagined

Round House Education invites students to participate in a variety of theatre, visual art, dance, and storytelling activities during their “Day Off”. Students explore a different story genre each Day Off as participants write, design, and perform their version of that type of story! Each day culminates in a performance for family and friends at 4:30.

Registration Information

Pre-registration is required to participate in this program.

Students must be registered by 4pm the Friday before the program date in order to participate.

This is a full day program, and is recommended for students who are used to a full day school program.

Schedule

Early Drop-Off: 8am – 9am (NO ADDITIONAL FEE!)
Program Day: 9am – 5pm
Performance: 4:30pm

Single Day: $85
