Fun and exciting opportunities for students from K – Adult to develop their artistic and performance skills with programs in both Bethesda and Silver Spring.
Days Off at Round House
Round House Theatre is proud to kick off a new program called Days Off at Round House! Similar in structure to Spring Break at Round House, the Round House Theatre Education Center will be open when Montgomery County Public Schools are closed.
Intersections
In school residences providing students in grades 3 – 12 with arts-based strategies for reading and interpreting literature.
Student Matinee Program
Creating comprehensive and affordable theatre experiences for school groups that include in-classroom pre-show workshops and post-show discussions with actors and education staff after each performance.
The Sarah Play
The only professional regional theatre production in the country directed, designed, and performed by high school students. Students are mentored by local theatre professionals to produce a 5-performance run of a play each spring.
The Heyday Players
A performance troupe of senior actors dedicated to enriching the lives of senior citizens by channeling their tremendous spirit, talent, and life experience into theatrical performance and community engagement.
Free for All Fridays
A series of free, hour-long theatre classes offered on specific Fridays in the fall and spring for students from Pre K – Adult.
Spring Break at Round House
Exercises the imaginations of students grades K – 6 during Spring Break through theatre and visual arts. Learn, laugh and make friends!
After-School Residences
Explore the unique ways to tell stories through theatre and visual art in the comfort of your own school.
Internships
Hands-on instruction and professional experience for the next generation of theatre artists and administrators.
